High on the porch and canted West to achieve due South orientation is a slate vertical South dial which is spalling badly. In the arched top is a decorative sunburst. It shows the hours 6am to 6pm undivided. Only the numerals 7, 9, 11, 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 are still visible. The dial is about 400mm square. The sheet iron gnomon is rusted and the middle of the style bent sideways.
