Pentagonal (i.e. pedimented) dialplate with edges of chapter ring going off the top as if the plate has been cut back to fit perhaps when the porch rebuilt in 1872. Copper alloy gnomon replaced recently (Oct 2002) but with the root too low. Sunburst around gnomon root. Shows 7am to 5pm in half and quarter hours. Half hour lines have diamond terminators. Uses XII and IV.
