The church is set down a path on the opposite side of the road to the Village Hall, where car parking can be found. A noticeboard marks the end of the path. The dial is high up in the centre of the south face of the tower.
The dial shows 6am to 6pm in hours with no subdivisions. It uses upright Roman numerals with XII for noon and IIII for 4pm. There is a semicircle around the root of the gnomon from which the hour lines emerge.
The square-section gnomon rod is slightly bent down and has two side sweeping supporters.
A faint Inscription at the top of the dial face reads: “J. -Bean-cock 1681”. (Reading of date may not be correct.)
