An analemmatic dial of steel markers set into asphalt. Approximately 10 metres in diameter. Hours marked in Arabic numerals. Four steel circles, engraved with calendar months and set within a painted red circle, indicate where the observer should stand. Framed by nine short, curved plinths, each topped with an illustrated plaque outlining a locally significant historical event. At the southern end, a blue shape represents the Thames. On either side, more engraved steel plaques highlight local landmarks, such as the adjacent Hampton Ferry.
