BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Nicholas Church, Ringmore

Dial mounted on south wall of church, high to the left of the porch, canted from wall to provide a direct South dial. Dial reads LAT. Square slate with dial inside V cut circle. Nicely cut radial Roman numerals read from outside. Date 1838 at top of dial above gnomon root. Hours, 6 am to 6 pm with half hour and quarter hour markings. Gnomon is iron with curved support. Centred on 12 o’clock line.
