BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The dial is mounted on the white pebble-dashed south side of the building between the two right-most windows. Across the top Is ’Ut hora fic [sic] vita’ (Life is as an hour). The gnomon is missing but it sprang from two concentric semi-circles, the gap between them filled with slightly curved radial lines. The holes of two gnomon mounting points can be seen. Hour lines run to the outer semi-circle, and there are short quarter and half hour lines. The hour numerals are VI - XII - IIII - VI, aligned to the hour lines and read from the centre, but with VI, VII and VIII reversed to IV, IIV and IIIV. All the furniture is black, either painted or, more probably, engraved and in-filled. See also SRN 2640, with the same numeral reversal and a similar motto, though dated 1660 and located far away in Cornwall.
