BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The dial is just below the roof-line, one block to the left of the main door. It is painted in black on a white stone diamond. It shows hours VII - XII - IIII - VI, though with VI, VII and VII reversed. These numerals are read from the inside, the others from below. Hour lines run to a double circular arc around the gnomon root, and half hours are marked with a short line and triple dot. Compare SRN 0830, 0831 and 0832 at Hurworth, just 9 miles away. 0830 is by William Emerson and 0832 is by C Hunter, thought to be a pupil of his.
