The dial stands on an octagonal section baluster pedestal decorated with four faces with coiled hair, and swags between (Haddonstone Adam Plinth D130). It is a simple three-ring armillary sphere by David Harber on a cruciform base, with on the meridian ring: ’MAKE TIME SAVE TIME . WHILE TIME LASTS . ALL TIME IS NO TIME . WHEN TIME IS PAST’. The hour ring shows VI - XII - IV - VI, marked with in half and quarter hours. The gnomon is an arrow with head and flight.
