BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The wording around the perimeter of the concrete circle is ’TODAY IS YESTERDAY’S TOMORROW’, and the hours are marked with Arabic numerals in circular concrete slabs. The gnomon is tethered to a bollard which carries a dedication celebrating the Golden Jubilee in 2002 of Queen Elizabeth II.
