BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Keelmen’s Hospital, Gateshead

The dial is half way up the white tower at the centre of the frontage of the building, under the clock. Across the top is the date MDCCI. The hours are IV - XII - II, with hour lines to a double semicircle, divided to half hours inside the chapter ring. The blade gnomon has a single support with a curlicue at the foot. The dial is white with black furniture.
