BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The Pottery, Kelso

The dial is on the south-westerly wall of the pottery, below the right-hand first floor window. A horizontal line of hour numerals shows XII - IV - VI, probably spaced empirically, as the gnomon points to the north-east, not to the north. To the right of the hour line is shown ’Time depicted’, spelled out in wire characters, like the hours.
