BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The dial is on the wall to the left of the south door. It shows hours VIII - XII - III, with a gnomon gap after XII, and hour lines and half-hour lines between implicit solstice curves. Across the top is ’Denton South Dentun 1220’, and at the bottom ’Millennium 2000 Tameside’. The furniture is raised, and black, on a buff concrete base. See also SRN 6018 and 8484, both also in Tameside.
