BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Old Burial Ground, Cargill

This cube dial above the entrance to Cargill Burial Ground was damaged by a contractor and was removed, but is now restored (by W. Watson of St Andrews) and back in position. The south face is badly flaked but has Roman numerals with + for noon. The other three dials have Arabic numerals, he east for 3 to 10am, the west 2 to 9pm and the north 3 to 9pm but flaked. The south gnomon is intact but the others are broken. There is a skull face under the south dial, and a thistle.
