BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Bede’s World, Jarrow

The dial is in the lawn to the south of the museum. The hours are marked with Roman numerals on circular tiles in the grass. The standing line is in a circular area across the central path, with a knotted tile border surrounded by radial bricks.
