BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Lancashire

The hexagonal dial is secured to a hexagonal granite pillar in the graveyard by three rusted studs. It is a dark blue/grey colour, with numerals IIII- XII - IIII - VIII, read from the inside, and divided to 30, 15 and 7.5 minutes. The substantial light blue copper or brass gnomon is an open triangle on a broad supporting flange plate.
