BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Victoria Park, Denton

The square dial stands on a large stone or concrete pedestal at the south end of Gould Street. Across the bottom is ’Millennium 2000 Tameside’, and there is a small inscription across the top, not legible in the photograph. The hours VI - XII - V are marked with hour and half-hour lines to an unmarked semicircle around the root of the small sturdy gnomon.
