BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Chigwell Lane, Denton

The dial is near the top of steps climbing the embankment below the Kier Building on the east side of Chigwell Lane. It is artfully formed from coiled steel rods, indicative of Kier’s business of construction, but the numerals on the hour ring are somewhat faded.
