BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Rhu and Shandon Church, Rhu

The cubic block stands near the church entrance. There is a horizontal dial on top, with a broken gnomon and some lines, but unclear numerals. The south face is dated 1637 and has a vertical dial with a complete gnomon. The east face with just a gnomon stub, has the hours 6 and 8 on the left side, 7 and 9 across the top, and the west face is similar. All numerals are Arabic.
