BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

This reclining dial is a very unusual depiction of a yacht riding a wave. Hour lines from 6am to 6pm. Arabic numerals for 6, 8, 10, 2, 4, and 6. Inscribed ’Cockenzie 2000 Port Seton’ on reverse. Designed and constructed by Gardner Malloy as a millenium project to commemorate the fishermen of Cockenzie and Port Seton.
