BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

All Saints Church (2), Morborne

The dial is on the SW corner of the chapel, above the buttress, about 3m above ground level, facing about ESE. It is deeply incised, with Roman numerals for 7am to 3pm in a narrow rectangular border. 7 is shown as ’IIV’, read from the east, and 8 as ’IIIV’, read from the centre of the dial, ie upside down. Noon is ’XII’, about 2/3 of the way across the dial, with a possible square indication of the original gnomon mount above it. Only one hour line is now visible, for 3pm.
