BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Leonard’s Church, Frankley

The dial is cemented to the stone-work high on the tower. Across the top is inscribed ’Horas non numero nisi serenas’ (I count the bright hours only). The aligned hour numerals are Roman, IX - XII - IV - VI, with half and quarter hour lines. The gnomon is a solid plate.
