BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The dial is a stone block supported on a rounded shelf just below the gutter, towards the right hand end of the group of buildings. It shows 6am to 5pm using upright Arabic numerals, with hour lines to a large semicircle around the gnomon root, and shorter half hour lines. At the top left is the date 1736, but this probably refers to the buildings, not to the dial itself. All the inscriptions are painted in black, as is the bar gnomon with ’S’ support.
