BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Yorkshire (W)

The dial is mounted over the front door, a white dial plate in a black diamond shaped frame. It shows hours 5am to 4pm with upright Roman numerals, using XII and IV, with hour lines to a small circle around the gnomon root, and spiky sun rays above.
