BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Parish Church, Haddington

The dial stands slightly proud of the west end of the stone south wall, at about 2m above ground level. Across the top in raised lettering is ’GEORG FA FECIT / ANNO 1633’. The upright hour numerals, also raised, are V - XII - IIII - V, with full-length hour lines, and no subdivisions. The gnomon is a solid iron sheet with an S-curved lower side.
