BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Village Hall, Pendleton

The square dial is mounted on a large stone slab outside the village hall. It is mounted in diamond aspect and above it is a plaque including an EOT graph. Across the top sides is ’DIAMOND JUBILEE / QUEEN ELIZABETH II’, and the lower sides hold the chapter ring with hours XI - XII - IV - VIII. The centre of the dial plate has hour and half-hour lines, with declination curves for the solstices and equinox, with appropriate symbols. ’1952 / 2012’ is at the top, with the latitude and longitude at the bottom, followed by ’GMT’. The gnomon was missing in 2022.
