BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Bedfordshire

The dial showa IIII - XII - IIII - VIII, with a noon gap, read from the outsude and divided to 15 and 30 minutes. There is an 8-point compass rose labelled to NE etc, surrounded by a floral band with a bow motif at the south. In the south gap of the chapter ring is ’Time passes Love Remains’. The gnomon, with an ’S’ support, is original but badly bent, but the dial is otherwise in good condition. There are several examples of this design in the Register.
