BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 4,800 sundials in the UK which are publicly available. Click here for the BRIDOL main page.

Brighton Park, Edinburgh

The dial was originally at The Tower, near the seafront in Portobello. It has a dial on each of the four faces, though we only have a photograph of the south-east face (currently positioned to face south-west), and that gnomon is missing. The thistle decoration on top is said to date from the 19th century.
