BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Brighton Park, Edinburgh

The dial was originally at The Tower, near the seafront in Portobello. It has a dial on each of the four faces, though we only have a photograph of the south-east face (currently positioned to face south-west), and that gnomon is missing. The thistle decoration on top is said to date from the 19th century.
