BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Senwyr’s Church, Llansannor

The dial is carved on two separate stones set into the rough stone gable above the south porch. The upper stone is broad arch-headed with the motto ’Sic Transit Gloria Mundi’ and the inscription ’T Truman Fecit Mar 10 1741’. The lower stone has the dial face with upright numerals VI - XII - IV - VI, and hour lines to a semicircle around the root of the open triangular sheet gnomon, and short half-hour lines. It is delineated for a small declination to the west of south, with the substyle lying at about 12:08pm. The dial is a replica of the much weathered original carved in 1741, which is preserved within the church. The antiquarian Thomas Truman died in 1786.
