BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Yorkshire (N)

The dial is a sliced sphere, with a circular chapter ring and a deeply carved face in the centre, with a beard or ruff. The 20mm wide chapter ring has ’N’ at the top, and Roman numerals read from the outside, but now hard to distinguish. The original gnomon rod is missing.
