BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
The dial has an underslung gnomon. It shows 4am to 8pm with Roman numerals, divided to 30, 15 and 10 minutes, the 10s numbered in Arabic numerals outside he chapter ring. The motto is ’Make time save time. While time lasts. All time is no time when time is past’.
