BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The dial consists of a central limestone ’table of dates’ panel with the months of the year, signs of the zodiac and the sun’s rays carved on it. The surrounding area is built with granite sets. 300mm diameter limestone hour numerals are placed around the scale of dates.
