BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The Old Forge, Deeping St James

The dial is sunk flush into the wall above the first-floor window in the large gable at the western end of the house. It is marked for BST, with morning hours X - XII in small black numerals and afternoon, I - IV - VI, in large. Full length hour lines are drawn, with no subdivisions. The narrow bar gnomon has a single straight support.
