BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Fife

The dial has hour numerals III - XII - IV - IX, read from the inside, and divided by diamonds and colons to half and quarter hours. The toe of the gnomon is, unusually for a modern dial, at the centre of the dial plate. To the south of the gnomon is a large ’M’, and below that is the date ’M
