BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Cuthbert’s Church, Allendale

The dial plate is a square stone mounted diamond-wise. It shows hours VI - XII - IV - VI, divided to half and quarter hours though the divisions are barely visible now. Below the gnomon is inscribed ’HORA FUGIT’, and in the bottom corner is ’LAT 54 00’.
