BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Sussex (E)

The dial is formed of strips and pre-formed lettering applied to the plaster wall in the timbered gable end of the farmhouse. At the top is the date ’M. M.’, and below is the motto ’DUM SPIRO SPERO’. The hours are V - XII - II, with hour lines and short half hour lines.
