BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Frenchman’s Row, Heddon-on-the-Wall

The dial is set in the pebble-dashed wall of the house between two first floor windows. It shows upright Roman hour numerals VII - XII - IV - V, with hour lines to an arc below the gnomon root, and divided to half hours.
