BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Lothian Region

There are three sundials on the north, south and west walls of the house. This is the one on the north side, declining west. The supporting corbel is carved as a winged cupid’s head, similar to some of those found at Heriot’s Hospital (SRN 2070). Peffermill House dates from 1636.
