BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The Queen’s Walk, Southwark

The dial is on the south bank of the Thames, adjacent to Tower Bridge. It is mounted on a circular black limestone plinth on a square base. It was designed by Piers Nicholson and delineated by John Davis. It shows BST hours in large vertically oriented Arabic numerals, 5am to 9pm, and GMT in small Roman, VI to VI using IV for 4pm, divided to 30, 10 and 5 minutes. The gnomon is of Spot-On design, giving a line of sunlight at noon.
