BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The dial is mounted on a brick wall facing SE and bears upright Roman hour numerals IIII - XII - II with hour lines to a semicircle around the gnomon root, and half hour lines terminating inwards with a small circle. The gnomon is offset to the right of the dial plate to accommodate the extra morning hour lines. Across the top of the dial plate is ’Silas Higgon fecit 1994’ and ’Lat 51.5’. Across the foot is ’ESTHER DARLINGTON / 1910 - 1993’, and in a separate small plate below is a simple EOT graph. The gnomon was missing in July 2020 but was held in store pending repair.
