BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
Not a working dial as can be easily seen from the photographs but it probably has some link to the work or style of the famous Charles Rennie Mackintosh. The house is a must for all Mackintosh fans. The symbolism of the objects illustrated is not known. The pedestal height is 1860mm.
