BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Tayside Region

This scaphe dial was designed by Sir Mark Lennox-Boyd and engraved and erected by Ben Jones on slate supplied and turned by Burlington. The gnomon is bronze and the furniture is gilded. The dial shows the Zodiacs and approximate time corrections (EOT and displacement combined) for days longer and shorter. It includes the coordinates and initials MALB and BJ. Compare SRN 1819 at Holker Hall in Cumbria and 5212 at Blockley, Glos.
