BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Woodthorpe, Duffield

The dial is just below the roof line on the south-west facing rear brick wall of the cottage and appears to be constructed from a white-painted iron network of hour lines in a rectangular frame. The black upright hour numerals in the narrow frame are IX - XII - VII and there are no subdivisions. The gnomon is a thin rod with a single straight support itself rising from a low two-footed bridge.
