BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in London (Greater)

The dial stands upon a substantial hexagonal pedestal raised on two hexagonal stone steps. It has a central 8-point compass star, labelled in small letters to NE etc. Hour numerals are aligned but there are no hour lines; half hours are marked by dots. The gnomon is a simple unsupported blade.
