BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
The dial has embossed furniture with radial Roman numerals and hour, half and quarter hour marks. The motto is ’Grow old / along with / me, the best is yet to be’, bisected by a figure of Father Time with his sickle. It stands on an octagonal section pillar on a square base, in grass a few metres from the wall of the church.
