BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Warwickshire

The dial stone is set into the corner of the sandstone chimney, about 1500 above ground level. The chimney on this much-actored farm house is Grade II listed, and dated to the 17th century. The dial plate is rudely scratched with aligned hour numerals VIII - XII - IV and full length hour lines to a single gnomon hole, and hence is possibly an intermediate dial with mass dial characteristics.
