BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Lawrence’s Church (2), Rowington

The dial stands on an ornamental circular-sectioned baluster style plinth with a large circular fluted top, in the northern area of the churchyard. It is a modern garden centre style dial with a knuckleduster gnomon and a motto ’Sunny Hours’ at the south. It has aligned hour numerals IIII - XII - IIII - VIII, read from the outside, with a noon gap. There are no hour lines or divisions. An eight-point compass star at the centre is labelled in small letters to NE etc.
