BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Warwickshire

The dial is recessed into a brick wall and was carved on site by Ben Jones. The motto below the dial, ’Christus Regnet’, is a separate cast panel by another hand. The dial shows hours VII - XII - IIII - V, with no divisions. There is a gilded bronze sun symbol at the base of the gilded bronze rod gnomon.
