Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in London (Greater)

The dial is made of Forest of Dean stone set into grass, and the carved numerals etc are in-filled with black signwriter’s enamel. The dial is delineated for summer hours with longitude correction, showing 5am to 9pm in Arabic numerals. The date scale has an inscription along east and west edges: ST. AUGUSTINE: FAITH IS TO BELIEVE WHAT YOU DO NOT YET SEE / THE REWARD FOR THIS FAITH IS TO SEE WHAT YOU BELIEVE. The School bage is to the south of date scale, and there are NSEW and sunrise and sunset marker stones. There is an instruction plate in etched stainless steel to the north of the date scale, mounted on stone.
