BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Children’s Playground, High Wycombe

The dial is mounted on a concrete plinth, originally provided as a drinking water fountain for an earlier children’s playground on this site in 1930. It is a ’Spot-On’ dial but sadly the gnomon was missing in 2018. GMT hours are VI - IV - VI, with a small circle for noon, and BST hours 5am to 9pm, all read from the north, and divided to 30 and 10 minutes. The dial plate also caries the Lat and Long, an Equation of Time table, and instructions for use.
