BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Fordham Memorial Gardens, Fordham

The dial plate rests on a cement slab 990 square, and this is supported by a square red brick column. The pedestal is 690 high. Hours are VI - XII - IV - VI, read from the outside, with no split noon. The hour lines extend into chapter ring and the hours are not subdivided. There is a sunburst around the gnomon root. Inscriptions: ’MEMORIAL GARDEN / FORDHAM 2000’; on left, ’W’ with left-pointing arrow through it (no other directions marked); on right, ’GMT’.
